Vaishakh Purnima is the Full Moon day in Vaishakha Month generally comes in May as per Gregorian Calendar. In 2022, Vaishakh Purnima date is May 16.
Several Temple festivals are also celebrated during Vaishakh Purnima. Kurma Jayanti is celebrated with utmost fervor in Srikurmam Sri Kurmanatha Swamy Temple in Srikakulam district of Andhra Pradesh.
Sri Rama Satyanarayana Swamy Kalyanotsavam is performed in Annavaram temple on Ekadashi in Shukla Paksha of Vaishakha Masam. These celebrations continue till Vaishakh Purnima.
As Narasimha Jayanti or Narasimha Chaturdashi is celebrated a day prior to Vaishakh Purnima, the celebrations also continue on the Full Moon day.
