TTD Website in Telugu, Tamil & Kannada soon.. To make TTD official web-site more pilgrim-friendly, it will be soon made available even in Telugu, Tamil and Kannada soon, said TTD EO Sri Anil Kumar Singhal.
Before taking the calls from the pilgrim callers during the monthly “Dial your EO” program held at Annamaiah Bhavan in Tirumala on Friday, the EO briefed the pilgrims over the ongoing arrangements for ensuing Brahmotsavams, some of the amendments brought in existing systems following the feed back given by pilgrims and the development activities.
He said, the Telugu website trial run will be from September 4 onwards for a week before it is launched officially in a full-fledged manner. “Similarly next month we are planning to launch our Tamil and Kannada versions also. These developments were made following the suggestions from pilgrim folk. This will enable the pilgrims to go for on-line booking for accommodation, darshan, laddu prasadams, donations etc.in an enhanced manner”, he added.
Later EO attended to 25 calls from pilgrims. Answering the callers Sri Srinivasa Rao from Vizag, Smt Nalini from Bengaluru, Smt Kanmani from Chennai, Smt Nagamani, Sri Kishore from Vijayawada who sought to book Suprabhatam and Thomala tickets the EO said, the premiere arjitha sevas are less in number. “So we have introduced electronic online dip system couple of months ago which is yielding good results in a transparent manner. Today also we have released 50,789 tickets of which the premiere sevas includes 6,699 and ordinary sevas are 44,090 for the month of December. So you can book the tickets on-line and the electronic dip will be taken next week”, he added.
Answering callers Smt Lakshmi from Chennai, Sri Umashanker from Hyderabad, the EO said, the new system of limiting Divya Darshan tokens for pedestrian pilgrims to 20thousand a day is giving positive results. “We are now able to provide darshan to 20thousand pilgrims who are coming on foot ways without waiting. We have not stopped Divya darshan pilgrims to 20thousands but limited the tokens to that figure. If the number of pilgrim cross this figure they will have darshan of Lord in Sarva Darshan queue”, EO added.
Reacting to a series of pilgrims Sri Surya Narayana and Sri Rajagopalan from Chennai, Sri Harinath from Hyderabad, Smt Sarvani from Vijayawada, the EO said, some restrictions have been brought in to donor privilege darshan as the pilgrim rush has also increased. However your suggestion providing a separate time slot for donors, giving better darshan to donors who have donated over one Lakh will be negotiated with other officials soon”, the EO said.
Smt Sveta from Australia brought to the notice of EO that she has not received Sapthagiri magazine though she has paid on May she hasn’t received the copy so far for which the EO responded that the copies will be sent to her address immediately by the concerned authority.
When Smt Vidya from Karnataka sought EO for Udayasthamana Seva, he said the Seva was cancelled in 2010 itself.
One pilgrim caller Sri Ramakrishna Paramahamsa from Hyderabad informed EO to further strictly observe traditional dress code for Rs.300 darshan.
Another caller suggested the EO to improve the feature of TTD calendar and diary as the dates are not visible in 2017 calendar for which the EO assured him of improvements in 2018 calendar.
A pilgrim Sri Venkat from Vijayawada suggested EO to deploy Srivari Seva micro observers in Kalyana Katta to avoid the irregularities for which the EO answered his suggestion is well taken.
DECEMBER ONLINE QUOTA OF SEVA TICKETS ARE 50,789-EO
TTD EO Sri Anil Kumar Singhal said a total of 50,789 arjitha Seva tickets were released for the month of December in on-line on Friday.
After Dial Your EO program, the EO briefed media on some important developmental activities. He said among these tickets, the premiere Seva tickets constitute 6,699 which includes Suprabhatam-4,099, Thomala And Archana -60 Each, Astadalapada Padmaradhana-180, Nijapada Darshanam-2,300 while the remaining 44,090 are ordinary arjitha Seva tickets which includes Kalyanotsavam- 10,125, Unjal Seva-2,700, Arjitha Brahmotsavam-5,805, Vasanthotsavam – 11,610, Sahasra Deepalankara Seva-12,350 and Visesha Puja-1,500.
To provide enhanced services to visiting pilgrims with the help of Srivari sevakulu, we are contemplating to introduce four-day, three-day Seva and special occasion sevas also apart from week-long sevas. This decision was taking keeping in view the hardship of educated and employed section to participate in week long Seva. If it is for three days and four days we can anticipate more number of youth and strengthen Srivari Seva also. Our Tirumala JEO has already had a couple of review meetings with concerned department and major user departments. These services may commence in the month of November”, he added.
Tirumala JEO Sri KS Sreenivasa Raju, Tirupati JEO Sri P Bhaskar, CVSO Sri A Ravikrishna, Special Officer Sri N Muktheswara Rao, CEO SVBC Sri Narasimha Rao, CE Sri Chandrasekhar Reddy and other senior officers were also present.
