TTD Temple Closing Time for Lunar Eclipse, 3 March 2026 (Chandra Grahanam).. Following the Lunar Eclipse on 3 March 2026, the Tirumala temple doors will remain closed from 9am till 7:30pm. Devotees will be allowed for darshan after Suddhi and other purificatory rituals after 8:30pm on March 03.
The temple doors of Sri Venkateswara Swamy at Tirumala will remain closed for over 10 hours on March 03 owing to Chandra Grahanam.
The Lunar Eclipse occurs on March 03 and lasts nearly three and a half hours from 3:20pm to 6:47pm.
It is a tradition to close the temple doors six hours prior to Grahanama.
Owing to the Lunar eclipse, TTD has cancelled Astadala Padapadmaradhana Seva, Kalyanotsavam, Unjal Seva, Arjita Brahmotsavam and Sahasra Deepalakara Seva on that devotees.

చంద్రగ్రహణం కారణంగా మార్చి 3వ తేదీ ఉదయం 9 నుండి సాయంత్రం 7.30 గంటల వరకు తిరుమల శ్రీ వేంకటేశ్వరస్వామివారి ఆలయాన్ని సుమారు 10.30 గంటల పాటు మూసివేయనున్నారు.
మార్చి 3వ తేదీ సాయంత్రం 3.20 గంటలకు చంద్రగ్రహణం ప్రారంభమై 6.47 గంటలకు పూర్తవుతుంది. సాధారణంగా గ్రహణ సమయానికి 6 గంటల ముందుగా ఆలయం తలుపులు మూసివేయడం ఆనవాయితీ.
సాయంత్రం 7.30 గంటలకు ఆలయ తలుపులు తెరిచి శుద్ధి, పుణ్యహవచనం నిర్వహిస్తారు. అనంతరం శ్రీవారి దర్శనం భక్తులకు 8:30గం నుండి పునః ప్రారంభవుతుంది.

చంద్రగ్రహణం కారణంగా మార్చి 3వ తేదీ మంగళవారం అష్టదళ పాద పద్మారాధన సేవను, కళ్యాణోత్సవం, ఊంజల్సేవ, ఆర్జిత బ్రహ్మోత్సవం, సహస్రదీపాలంకార సేవలను టీటీడీ రద్దు చేసింది.
శ్రీవారి భక్తులు ఈ విషయాలను గమనించి తమ తిరుమల యాత్ర ప్రణాళికను రూపొందించుకోవాల్సిందిగా కోరడమైనది.
