Pimbalam is a beautiful and prosperous city. There lived a devotee named Niloba in this city. He was always devoted to the worship of Srimannarayana and was selfless. He eats the rest of the day, giving it to his servant and feeding it to his devotee.
He has only one daughter. She was in the age of marriage. His wife, on the other hand, would be worried every day and would lament to her husband, saying, we have not a single copper puzzle in the hands of the poorest of the poor, and our relatives do not respect us because of poverty, and if you don’t try, how will the marriage take place?
Niloba said, ‘Woman, what is the use of us being sad and worried? The Pandurang has to be conducted by Thiruvarul; He is our mother and father.”
Seeing Nilaba’s firm faith and determination, the Lord was overwhelmed; Unexpectedly, Niloba got a groom and got engaged and mentioned the muhurat of the engagement; On the eve of the muhurat, Panduranga arrived there as an old Brahmin.Seeing him with a dirty rag dhoti, he bowed down and said, ‘Swami, who are you? Where do you come from?” he asked. He said, “I have no town of my own; There are no relatives or parents; I am going to the village and begging for a living, and I want to take the rice, pulses and vegetables that I have got today and feed me a morsel of swan.
Niloba took pity on the old man. Swami, my daughter is getting married tomorrow. When many people come and eat, you will have a stomach shortage. You don’t have to give anything, you can eat here.
The swami said, “Even if you are right, the rice and dal I have will go in vain. If you don’t agree to this, I won’t eat it,” said the old man.
Niloba had no choice but to ask his wife to buy the goods. The old man untied the contents of his hair and said, Mother, you will add this to the wedding items that your husband has bought, and she did the same, and then she served them six delicacies with leaves.
After eating, the chemist went to Nilabha and said, ‘I know how to cook well. Will you accept as a cook for the wedding tomorrow? Even if thousands of people come, I will serve them at the right time. Maybe you don’t mind entrusting the food to me.”
Nilabha’s heart was filled with joy. He happily accepted the unexpected help coming to us, who were poor and deprived of the support of our neighbours.
The next morning, the wedding took place in a grand manner. The old man, as he had consented, entered the monastery and made a splendid feast with the Panchapakshaparamanas, vegetables and illustrations. The furniture in the drawing-room grew steadily. After the wedding, the relatives took their daughter with them.
Niloba was surprised to find that the furniture was intact in the tight room. The old man asked each of them separately and said goodbye to Nilabaa
Niloba, this Brahmin, though he looked so old, had managed to do such a great deal of time. The rice and pulses he brought are growing inexhaustible. He appears to be a great ascetic. Wanting to reward him with at least a silk shirt, he went inside and took out a silk cloth that he had bought for Sambandhi. We didn’t see the old man on the porch!
Clearly, he understood the matter. It was the Sarvaloka Saranya who had come and had taken all the dirty work from the Lord to spitting like this, my lord, is this justice or is it a shame? Niloba melted into tears and melted into tears.
Don’t worry in vain, my dear. Serving the devotees is my passion. Seeing that you have no support from your neighbours, I came as an old man. How can I be a disgrace when I have come by the way? I wanted the world to know my love for you. I will be an archavatar in your house, said a voice. Even today, this festival is celebrated as a festival in Pimpalai.
