Tirumala Adhyayanotsavams 2020-2021 in Dhanurmasam | 14 December – 7 January 2021

The annual Adhyayanotsavams will commence in Sri Tirumala temple from December 14, 2020 and last till 7 January 2021. This 25 day festival will commence eleven days prior to Vaikuntha Ekadashi festival. The Nalayira Divya Prabandha Pasura Parayanam penned by 12 Alwars will be rendered on this occasion.

The first eleven days are known as Pagalpattu, the next ten days are called Rapattu, 22nd day is Kanninun Siruttambu, 23rd day Ramanuja Nutrandadi, 24th day Sri Varahaswamy Sattumora and concludes with Tanniramudu Utsavam on 25th day.

IMPORTANCE: The recitation of Nalariya Divya Prabandha Pasurams (4000 couplets) penned by 12 Alwars, the ardent saintly persons of Sri Vaishnava in the auspicious month of Dhanurmasam.

Every day the Sri Vaishnava pundits render pasurams in Ranganayakula mandapam. This fete commences eleven days before Vaikuntha Ekadasi in Tirumala temple and the first eleven days are known as Pagalpattu and the next ten days are called Rapattu.

On 22nd day Kanninun Siruttambu, 23rd day Ramanuja Nutrandadi, 24th day Sri Varahaswamy Sattumora and on final day Tanniramudu utsavam will be observed.
