Sama Upakarma 2023 (Samaveda Upakarma) is an auspicious for those who follow Samaveda. In 2023, Sama Upakarma date is September 16. And most of the Tamil Panchangams, Malayalam Panchangams and Kannada Panchangams mentioned Samavedi Upakarma 2023 date as September 16. And most of the Telugu Panchangams mentioned Samaveda Upakarma date as 16 September.

So it is necessary to do Upakarma and Uthsarjana every year.
