Tiruchanoor Temple Chandra Grahanam Closing Time – 31 January 2018

The famous shrine of Goddess Sri Padmavathi Devi at Tiruchanoor will be closed for over 10 hours from 11 AM on 31 January till 9.30 PM on the same day in connection with lunar eclipse.

Speaking to media persons at Annamaiah Bhavan in Tirumala on Saturday evening, the JEO said, on that day, the darshan will last only from 8am to 10am and again from 9:30pm to 12:30 midnight, hardly for five hours.

The temple doors will again re-open after performing Suddhi, Punyahavachanam etc. The sarva darshan of the presiding deity will commence after 7:30am on February 1. Apart from Goddess shrine, the other sub-shrines including Sri Krishna Swamy, Sri Sunderaraja Swamy, Sri Surya Narayana Swamy are also remain closed till the eclipse phase is completed.

TTD has cancelled Kalyanotsavam, Unjal Seva on 31 January in the temple.
