All the sub-temples under the umbrella of TTD have been geared up to observe the Radha Sapthami, the festival of Surya Jayanthi in a ceremonial manner on January 24, 2018, with religious fervour.
Akin to Tirumala, in Sri Govinda Raja Swamy temple will take ride on Saptha Vahanams from morning to evening on Suryaprabha, Hamsa, Hanumantha, Peddasesha, Mutyapupandiri, Sarvabhupala and Garuda Vahanams from 5:30am to 8pm.
While in Sri Kodanda Rama Swamy temple the Lord takes ride on Suryaprabha and Chandraprabha vahanams and in Tiruchanoor, Goddess takes ride on Suryaprabha, Hamsa, Aswa, Garuda, Chinna Sesha, Chandraprabha and Gaja Vahanams. Snapana Tirumanjanam will take place between 3pm and 4pm.
Lord Sri Suryanarayana Murthy will take ride on celestial Aswa vahanam in Sri Surya Narayana Swamy temple located adjacent to Padmavathi Ammavaru temple.
In Chandragiri Ramalayam, Lord takes ride on Bangaru Tiruchi between 9am to 11am, in Karvetinagaram Sri Venugopala Swamy temple between 6am and 7am. While in Appalayagunta, Tiruveedhi Utsavam takes place between 6am and 8am.
Similarly Sapthavahana seva will be observed in Narayanavanam, Nagalapuram temples also.
