Diwali is considered the best and auspicious time for trading. It is the great time for starting new deals in stock markets (share markets).

BSE (Bombay Stock Exchange) and NSE (National Stock Exchange) will conduct special ‘Muhurat’ trading session on Diwali on 24 October 2022, Monday.

As per the press statements of the stock market officials, the ‘Muhurat’ trading, which is conducted on the auspicious occasion of Diwali and Bali Pratipada, would be held between 18.15 hrs (6.15 PM) and 19.15 hrs (7.15 PM).

BSE would conduct the special session in equity derivatives, currency derivatives, equity and SLB segment while NSE would conduct the same in currency derivatives, futures and options and capital market segment.

According to NSE, “… a special live trading session shall be held on Thursday, 24 October 2022 on account of Muhurat trading on Diwali”. And the circular of NSE also stated, “All trades executed in this Diwali Muhurat trading session shall result in settlement obligations.”
