Special Trains for Mumbai, Varanasi, Patna, Agra, Muzaffarpur for Diwali 2011

Central Railways will run special trains during Diwali 2011 between Mumbai, Varanasi, Patna, Agra Cantonment & Muzaffarpur from 12 October to 16 November 2011. The special trains will also run between Valsad-Varanasi & Ahmedabad-Lucknow from September 23 to November 13, 2011. The details of special trains are as below:

1.Weekly Specials between Mumbai and Varanasi

Train No. 01027 will leave Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus Mumbai at 13.30 hours o­n every Wednesday from 12 October 2011 to 16 November 2011 (6 trips) which will arrive at Varanasi at 14.50 hours next day. Train No. 01028 will leave Varanasi at 19.55 hours o­n every Thursday from 13 October 2011 to 17 November 2011 (6 trips) which will arrive at Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus Mumbai at 23.45 hours next day. Composition: o­ne AC-2 tier cum AC-3 tier, o­ne AC-3 tier, 10 sleeper class, 3 general second class and 2 general second class cum guard’s brake vans. Halts: Dadar, Kalyan, Igatpuri, Nasik Road, Manmad, Bhusawal, Khandwa, Itarsi, Pipariya, Narsinghpur, Jabalpur, Katni, Maihar, Satna, Manikpur, Chheoki and Mirzapur

2.Weekly Specials between Mumbai and Patna

Train No. 01041 will leave Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus Mumbai at 00.50 hours o­n every Friday from 14 October 2011 to 11 November 2011 (first special will leave in the midnight of 13/14 October 2011) (5 trips) which will arrive at Patna at 10.00 hours next day. Train No. 01042 will leave Patna at 13.30 hours o­n every Saturday from 15 October 2011 to 12 November 2011 (5 trips) which will arrive at Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus Mumbai at 23.45 hours next day. Composition: o­ne AC-2 Tier, o­ne AC-3 Tier, 10 sleeper class, 3 general second class and 2 general second class cum guard’s brake vans. Halts: Dadar, Kalyan, Igatpuri, Nasik Road, Manmad, Bhusaval, Khandwa, Harda, Itarsi, Narsinghpur, Jabalpur, Katni, Maihar, Satna, Manikpur, Chheoki, Mirzapur, Mughalsarai, Buxar, Ara and Danapur

3.Weekly Super Fast Specials between Mumbai and Agra Cantt.

Train No. 01031 will leave Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus Mumbai at 11.05 hours o­n every Tuesday from 11 October 2011 to 8 November.2011 (5 trips) which will arrive at Agra Cantt. at 09.30 hours next day. Train No. 01032 will leave Agra Cantt. at 14.40 hours o­n every Wednesday from 12 October 2011 to 9 November 2011 (5 trips)which will arrive at Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus Mumbai at 15.50 hours next day. Composition: o­ne AC-2 Tier, o­ne AC-3 Tier, 10 sleeper class, 3 general second class and 2 general second class cum guard’s brake vans. Halts: Dadar, Kalyan, Igatpuri, Nasik Road, Manmad, Jalgaon, Bhusawal, Khandwa, Harda, Itarsi, Habibganj, Bhopal, Bina, Lalitpur, Jhansi, Dabra, Morena and Dhaulpur

4.Weekly Specials between Lokmanya Tilak Terminus and Muzaffarpur

Train No. 01057 will leave Lokmanya Tilak Terminus at 13.20 hours o­n every Wednesday from 12 October 2011 to 16 November 2011 (6 trips) which will arrive at Muzaffarpur at 23.50 hours next day. Train No. 01058 will leave Muzaffarpur at 07.25 hours o­n every Friday from 14 October 2011 to 18 November 2011 (6 trips) which will arrive at Lokmanya Tilak Terminus at 22.05 hours next day. Composition: o­ne AC-2 Tier, o­ne AC-3 Tier, 10 sleeper class, 3 general second class and 2 general second class cum guard’s brake vans. Halts: Thane, Kalyan, Igatpuri, Nasik Road, Manmad, Bhusaval, Khandwa, Harda, Itarsi, Pipariya, Narsinghpur, Jabalpur, Katni, Maihar, Satna, Manikpur, Chheoki, Mirzapur, Varanasi, Aunrihar, Ballia, Chhapra, Sonpur and Hajipur.

5. Valsad – Varanasi Weekly Special Train:

Valsad-Varanasi weekly Special would leave Valsad every Friday, from September 23 to November 11, at 7.40pm. It would follow the route of Udhna, Jalgaon, Bhusawal, Khandwa, Itarsi, Pipariya, Jabalpur, Katni, Maihar, Satna, Manikpur, Chheoki, Mirzapur and finally terminate at Mirzapur next day at 1.10am. During the return journey, the train would leave Varanasi every Sunday at 5.25am, from September 25 to November 11, and terminate at Valsad at 1.10pm next day. The train would have one AC-II coach, one AC-III coach, seven sleeper and six general coaches.

6. Ahmedabad – Lucknow Special Train:

Train number 9407/9408 would ply between Ahmedabad and Lucknow. This train would leave Ahmedabad at 11.25pm every Sunday from September 25 to November 13. It would follow the route from Sabarmati, Palanpur, Abu Road, Ajmer, Kisanganj, Jaipur, Dausa, Bandikui, Agra Fort, Tundla, Kanpur and finally terminate at Lucknow at 1.00am. During the return journey, the train would leave Lucknow every Tuesday at 8.40am, from September 27 to October 15, and would terminate at Ahmedabad next day at 8.55am. This train would have three AC-3 Tier, 11 sleeper and 4 general coaches.
