On the Sixth day of TTD Brahmotsavam, in the morning Hanumath vahanam seva and in the evening Gaja Vahana sevas are celebrated in Tirumala Tirupati Temple. In 2022, Sixth day of Navaratri Brahmotsavam date is October 2 (Salakatla Brahmotsavam).
Sixth day starts with Hanumantha vahanam in the morning. Hanuman is ardent devotee of Lord Sri Rama in Tretha yuga, who is none other than Lord Srimannarayana himself. Lord Malayappa Swamy is taken out in procession around Mada Streets on Lord Hanuman.
Vasantotsavam and Suvarna Ratharanga Dolotsavam are also celebrated in the morning on sixth day.
On the night, Lord goes around four mada streets in Gaja Vahanam, elephant vehicle. Lord is adorned with wonderful pearl gaalands. Elephant symbolizes Aiswaraya, prosperity or wealth. Lord Srinivasa who is the supreme bestower of Aiswaraya (prosperity) rides of elephant vahana on this night.
