Shrutakirti | Wife of Shatrughna

According to Ramayana, Shrutakirti is the daughter of King Kushadhwaja and Queen Chandrabhaga. Shrutakirti was married to Rama’s youngest brother Shatrughna, and they got two sons.

Shrutakirti was the sister of Mandavi, and similar to her sister, she also contains good qualities and considered as a beautiful and an intelligent woman, who used to give suitable advice to her husband Shatrughna, and served him in a pleasing manner throughout her life.

Shrutakirti dedicated her entire life, towards providing service to her husband and her in-laws. Though she was a princess, she showed kindness among the Ayodhya people, and removed their sufferings and sorrows through her good service, and she was considered as a holy woman by the people of Ayodhya. She was very polite, gentle and a broad minded princess.
