Shri Dev Koleshwar is located in a village named Kolthare, a bit away from the Dapoli Taluka of the district of Ratnagiri in the state of Maharashtra in western India. The primary deity of this temple is lord Shiva. Therefore it is a temple that is largely dedicated to Lord Shiva. According to the temple priest, the normal theertham that has the power to cure all kinds of disease and heal too. In this temple, Pilgrims and devotees are allowed to perform the pujas and rituals themselves only during the morning hours with a fee.
