Shivaratri is a major festival at Vemulawada Rajarajeshwara Swamy temple in Karimnagar district of Andhra Pradesh. In 2021, Shivaratri date is March 11 and the Shivratri Jathara will be celebrated on March 10, March 11 and March 12.
Shivaratri Jatara or a fair is celebrated here in this temple for 3 days, starting on the day before Shivaratri and ends on the day after the festival. Temple committee and authorities are expecting more than 5 lakh devotees during the celebrations of Shivratri.
