Puttaparthi Sathya Sai Baba died at the Sathya Sai Super Speciality Hospital at Puttaparthi in Anantpur district of Andhra Pradesh today (24 April 2011, Sunday) in the morning at 7.40 hrs. Sathya Sai Baba is the most popular Hindu spiritual leader, god man, and also called as Bhagavan (God) by his devotees. Baba’s age is 84 years. He admitted to hospital on March 28, 2011, with heart problems.
Born on 23 November 1926 in Puttaparthi, Satyanarayana Raju declared himself a reincarnation of Shirdi Sai Baba at the age of 14. From then on his devotees and admirers only grew in numbers over the years.
Puttaparthi Sathya Sai Trust has more than 1 lac crore rupees of properties all over the globe. There are some controversies going inside the trust and among all trust members.
