Paadal Petra Sthalangal in Thiruthuraipoondi

It is to be remembered that three temples that are Thirukkadikulam temple, Karpaganadharkulam temple and Karpaganarkoil or temple are situated at a distance of just 2 km east of Idumbavanam temple and on the south bank of Cauvery. Devotees and pilgrims are advised to take the muthupet road and directly drive just 10 km in order to reach this particular village named as Karpaganadhar Kulam located on the main road. Then they should take a left and directly drive just a kilometer in order to reach this particular temple.

On the other hand, after visiting these temples then just drive further west from here in order to reach Idumbavanam. Shivarathri day is grandly celebrated in a festive manner in these temples.

Thiruvuchaathanam, Koviloor temple is located at a distance of nearly 2 km north of Muthupettai, which is southwest of thiruthuraipoondi, south bank of Cauvery. Kaichinnam temple is situated at a distance of about 11 km north of Thiruthuraipoondi, south bank of Cauvery.

Thiruthengoor temple is located at a distance of nearly 16 km north of Thiruthuraipoondi, 2 km from Thirunellikkaa, south bank of Cauvery. Thirukkollikkadu temple is located at a distance of approximately 15 km north of Thiruthuraipoondi, south bank of Cauvery.

Thiruchitremam temple is situated at a distance of about 14 km northeast of Thiruthuraipoondi, south bank of cauvery. On the Tiruvarur road take a right at Aalathampadi and drive further skipping 2 bridges across the irrigation canal and cross the third bridge to reach this temple.

Idumbaavanam temple is located at a distance of just 12 km south of Thiruthuraipoondi, it is on the south bank of Cauvery and just 2 km West of Karpaganadharkulam.
