‘Make in India Ganesh’ in Hyderabad is organised by BalYuva Mandal, Hindinagar (Goshamahal). In 2015, Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations have begun on September 17 and will end on September 27 with Ganapati Nimajjanam.
The Make in India Ganesh is made with 1.6 lakh battery cells and 25,000 bolts, screws, chains, coils and nuts. It took more than 65 days for the organizers to prepare this idol. The significant feature of this Ganesha is – all the items used in preparing this idol are made in India.
The organisers are also calling it a ‘Mechanical Ganesh’.
