Grahanam time : 03.20 pm to 06.47 pm
Grahana Snanam: 5 PM
Tarpanam 5.30 to 6.30 PM
Moksha Snanam: 6.50 PM
Cooking after 6.50 PM and then Bhojanam
Affected Nakshatra: Bharani, makam, pooram, uthram and pooradam
However Sri Rangam Panchangam(Vakhya Panchangam) says and sparsam is at 3.20 pm and moksham at 6.20 am

The Lunar eclipse Tharpana has to be done towards the end of Chandra Grahana(. Since the Grahana ends on 3 March 2026 dusk , it should be done around 6.20 pm

(Those whose Nakshatra the eclipse are affected , should write the following sloka in a palm leaf and tie it to their forehead. After the eclipse this palm leaf (if palm leaf not available on card board ) and it should be removed. Then they should give in charity one Ash gourd, coconut and coin to a Brahmin.

If in india, its advised to do it between 11 and 11.45 pm where the eclipse would be at peak as advised by our sastrigal in chennai. Jairam..
We are four brothers. My dad passed away. Tharpanam to be carried out only by elder or all.please clarify.
Elder brother should do tharpanam but all the brothers have to accompany him.
Tharpana should ve done by all the males from bramacharis and grahasthas who dont have father… there is no exception
