Kurumurthy Temple Brahmotsavam | Kurumurthy Swamy Jathara

Kurumurthy Temple Brahmotsavam (Kurumurthy Jathara) is one of the biggest religious congregations in Telangana. Kurumurthy Swamy Temple is located at Ammapur village in Mahabubnagar district.

In 2014, Kurumurthy Temple Brahmotsavam begins on October 23 and ends on November 12.

All necessary arrangements are being made for the devotees visiting Sri Kurumurthy Swamy jatara, according to the district Collector.

Sri Kurumurthy Swamy jatara, the biggest in the district, would be held for 19 days at Ammapur village in Deverkadra mandal.

The most important day during Brahmotsavalu celebrations is on October 30, on the day Sri Vari “Uddala seva” will be performed when foot wear will be carried and presented to Sri Kurumuthy Swamy.

The Collector reviewed the arrangements with the officers concerned and with members of temple committee here on Wednesday. He said that there will be strict vigilance by the excise personnel to contain the sale of liquor in the jatara.

The Collector directed the officials and others to accord to ensure drinking water and sanitation . To provide adequate power supply one additional transformer would be setup.
