Kumbh Mela, the largest religious congregation in the world will attract millions of devotees from all around the world. To clear the extra rush of devotees for Haridwar Kumbh Mela 2010, Indian Railways will run special trains from Amritsar and Jammu on special days.
The special train, 0546-0455, will be run from Amritsar to Haridwar on February 11, March 14 and March 15 in 2010. The train will start at 3.40 pm at Amritsar and reach Haridwar at 11.50 pm. It will have stoppages at Beas, Jalandhar city, Ludhiana, Ambala Cantt and Saharanpur stations. On return journey, it will run on February 12, March 15 and March 16.
The special train 0459-0460, will be run on February 11, March 14 and March 15 in 2010 from, starting from Jammu at 2.50 pm and will reach Haridwar at 4.40 am. On return journey, it will start from Haridwar at 9.20 pm and reach Jammu at 8.45 pm. The train will have stoppages at Kathua, Chakki Bank, Tanda Urma, Jalandhar Cantt, Ludhiana, Ambala Cantt, Saharanpur, Roorkee and Jawalapur stations.
