Mata Krishna Priya (1923–1987) was a devotee of Lord Krishna, Guru Raghavendra and Shirdi Sai Baba, and she was born in the year 1923, at Parlakimidi in a Telugu Madhwa Brahmin family. Priya had her education in Andhra Pradesh and contains good knowledge in various subjects. She was married to a pious Brahmin scholar in Gondia, Maharashtra in the year 1936, and they had four children. She left from her married life in the year 1953.
At her young age, Sai Baba of Shirdi appeared in her dream, and instructed her to worship him regularly. Once, she also had the vision of Lord Krishna, and got enlightenment. In 1950, she recovered from sever fever due to the grace of SaiBaba of Shirdi, and Raghavendra Swami of Mantralayam. Similar to her, her husband also had relieved from his sickness.
Once, she also made the Holy River Ganges to flow from her feet. In 1953, her followers were established the Sai Samaj at East Godavari, Andhra Pradesh in her name and a temple was constructed in the year 1954, and the deities of Sri Sai Baba, Mata Radha and Lord Krishna were installed in the temple. An ashram was constructed in Nagpur, and Mathaji Krishnapriya, made it as her permanent residence till her last days. Krishnapriya died in the year 1987.
