Khairatabad Ganesh 2019 image design theme
Khairatabad Ganesh Utsava Samithi (Khairatabad Ganesh Utsav Committee), Hyderabad’s mamoth Ganesh Mandal, has released the model picture of 61-foot giant Ganapathi Vigraham for Vinayaka Chavithi celebrations 2019.
“Sri Dwadashaditya Maha Ganapati” is the basic theme name for this Ganpati. As per sources, the idol will have 12-headed snake in the background. The idol will also have 14 arms and 14 Ayudhams (weapons), one each in a hand.
This giant Ganesha will have 12 serpents in the top side and seven 20-feet horses from ground to the mid portion of the idol.
The twelve-headed mammoth idol will have Goddess Mahakali along with Trimurthi – Brahma, Vishnu and Maheshwara in the left side and Maha Vishnu along with Ekadashi Mata in the right side.
This Dwadashaditya Maha Ganapathi Mandapam will have Siddhakunjika Devi in the right side mandapam and Dattatreya Swamy in left side mandapam.
Khairatabad Ganesha (the Mammoth Ganapathi idol) known as the biggest and one of the most popular Ganesha Utsav mandals in not only Hyderabad but also in entire India, has got their first puja to Ganesha in April 2019.
In 2019, Ganesh Navaratri begins on September 2 with Ganesh Chaturthi Puja. According to the organizers, this year the Ganapathi vigraham will be of 61 feet height.
This year (2019) is the 65th Year of Ganapathi Navaratri celebrations for Khairatabad Ganesh Utsava Samithi. On this occasion, some special pujas will be performed.
Khairatabad Ganesh 2018 – 57-feet Sri Saptamukha Vinayakudu
“Sri Saptamukha Vinayakudu” is the basic theme name for this Ganpati. As per sources, the idol will have 7-headed snake in the background. The idol will also have 14 arms and 14 Ayudhams (weapons), one each in a hand.
The Seven-headed mammoth idol will have Srinivasa Kalyanam (the set of celestial marriage of Lord Venkateshwara and Padmavathi Ammavaru) in the left side and Shiva Parvathi in the right side.
Khairatabad Ganapathi 2017 – Sri Chandi Kumara Anantha Maha Ganapathi
Sri Chandi Kumara Anantha Maha Ganapathi” is the basic theme name for this Ganpati. As per the picture released, it will have ‘Maha Kala Sadashivudu’ at its left side and the scene of ‘Mahishasura Mardhini’ at its right side. The idol will have 12-headed snake in the background. The portrayals of Goddess Chandi and Lord Subrahmanya Swamy (Kumara swamy) are also play their part in this large Ganesha.
