Kapileshwara-Temple-Belagavi
Shri Kapileshwara Shiva Temple in Belagavi is an ancient temple which is considered as the South Kashi. The said Shiva Linga was installed by the great sage Kapila Muni. The temple is a unique and sacred and great Jyotirlinga which is not just only confined to Belagavi but also widely spread to entire India. Its a belief that the Chardham Yatra is completed when devotees visit the Kapileshwara Temple.
The fire place installed by Shri Kapil sage is still alive. Besides, it is cited in Kamal Basti which was constructed in 11th Century in Killa Fort Belagavi about Shri Kapileshwara Temple and It is the most compelling evidence that Shri Kapileshwara temple is an ancient, conscious and great Jyotirlinga.

Team of scientist from Mumbai have invited to study the sanctity of the Kapileshwara temple. with the system of lyakar Antenna to measure the positive energy and friquency which is known as Bovis scale. The Positive energy and Bovis frequency was measured up to 1,05,000 bovis positive energy level which is equivalent to kailash Parvat.
The great personalities like Shankaracharya in 8th century and Shri Swamy Vivekananda from 18th to 29th October in 1892, Lokamanya Tilak in 1895 and Mahatma Gandhi in 1924 had visited the great Kapileshwara Jyotirlinga to seek the divine blessings.
