Kalyana Venkateshwara Swamy on Chandraprabha Vahanam

Kalyana Venkateshwara Swamy on Chandraprabha Vahanam on 16 February 2015..

After taking a dazzling ride on Suryaprabha Vahanam in the morning on the bright sunny day on Monday, the Lord Sri Kalyana Venkateswara Swamy took a pleasant ride in the evening on the Chandra Prabha Vahanam at Srinivasa Mangapuram.

In Vedic astrology, Chandra represents brain and mind, emotions and sensitivity, softness and imagination. The moon is considered a planet and infact one of the best planets to be born under as it promises wealth and happiness.

In the ‘Purusha Sukta’ of the Rigveda it is mentioned that Chandra was born from the mind of the Virat Purusha-God symbolized as the entire universe, who is none other than Sri Maha Vishnu Himself. So it becomes relevant that Lord Sri Kalyana Venkateswara Swamy to take a celestial ride on Chandra Prabha during His annual brahmotsavams giving a soothing, chill-thrill to His devotees.

TTD JEO Sri Pola Bhaskar, VGOS Sri Raveendra Reddy, DyEO Sri Sridhar, AEO Sri Dhanajeyulu, Temple Staff and large number of devotees took part.
