23 April 2022 is Kalashtami Vrat. Also known as Kala Ashtami, Kalashtami falls on Ashtami tithi of Krishna Paksha (dark fortnight) of every Hindu month.
Kalashtami is an auspicious day for the devotees of Lord Kalabhairava (a manifestation of Lord Shiva) who observe fasting on this day.
