Kal Mochan Temple, Kathmandu devastated

Kal Mochan Temple in Kathmandu, Nepal was devastated in today’s earthquake (25 April 2015) for which the epicenter was Kathmandu (Nepal).

Kal Mochan is a big white temple in Tripureshwor. The temple was construct in 1874 on the bank of Bagmati river and was used as a Ghat (Hindu creamation place) like Pashupatinath.

KalMochan Mahadev is also know as Narayan Than, the place of lord Vishnu. You can visit Kalmochan temple for free and discover around: the life of sadhu’s, more Hindu mandir and some monkeys.
