Jwala Chaturdashi at Jwalamukhi Temple in Anantnag of Kashmir

Jwala Chaturdasi or Jwalamukhi Chaturdashi is an annual festival celebrated at Jwalamukhi Temple of Khru or Khrew, Srinagar of Kashmir. In 2021, Jwala Chaturdashi date is July 23.

It is celebrated on fourteenth day in Shukla Paksha of Aashadh month. Jwala Mukhi Temple is situated about 20 kms from Srinagar in Anantnag district. Jwala Chaturdashi is the most colourful festival celebrated on the hill region of Anantnag. Thousands of Kshmiri Pandits gather during the fest and worship the Goddess and offer nivedna to her.
