Hindu Temple and Heritage Foundation’s Diwali at Monrovia

The Hindu Temple and Heritage Foundation of Pasadena (HTHF), Diwali Cultural Program 2012, will be held on the 10th of November from 7:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. at Clifton Middle School Auditorium, Monrovia, located at 226 S. Ivy Ave, Monrovia. Tickets will cost $10.00 until November 4th and $12.50 after this day. Free for kids 5 and under and performers 16 and under.

The Hindu Temple and Heritage Foundation of Pasadena (HTHF) is a non-profit organization dedicated to sustaining, nurturing, and celebrating India’s cultural & spiritual heritage. HTHF hosts many Indian festivals to create a better understanding of India’s culture amongst all and to provide the Indian community a platform to enjoy festivities in its true spirit with family and friends.

The Diwali event showcases the community’s cultural diversity and multifaceted talents to a well attended audience including Indians/non-Indians. Performances include Indian classical, folk, movie dances, vocal & instrumental recitals, and inspirational and comedy skits. Sponsorships are welcome. 100% net earnings from the event go towards community classes and similar cultural activities.

The public is invited to San Gabriel Valley’s longest running annual evening of live Indian classical, folk and popular movie dances, songs, plays/skits, fun, food and Diwali celebrations! Diwali is an event that showcases the community’s talents, and provides a platform for all to enjoy Diwali festivities in true spirit – with family and friends.
