Haridhos Giri Swamigal (20th century AD), also called as Haridas, was born in a pious Hindu family, in the village of Thennangur, Tamil Nadu.
Swami Haridhos Giri was very good in chanting of god’s names (Nama sankeertanam) and giving religious discourses on Bhagavatham, Bhagavat Gita and Ramayan. He had travelled to many foreign countries and gave divine speeches and sung songs on Lord Krishna. He undertook holy pilgrimages throughout India, and visited the divine deities. He is the Disciple of Swami Gnanananda Giri, and he served sincerely to his guru Sri Gnanananda Giri. He built the famous temple of Panduranga, and the shrine of his beloved guru Gnanananda Giri in the Thennangur village. He also built guest houses near the temple for the devotees.
He travelled throughout India and spread the “KRISHNA BHAKTI SPIRIT” among the people. He has lot of followers and devotees all over the world. He renovated ancient temples and performed social services as per the instructions of his guru Sri Gnanananda.
He took Jalasamadhi in the Rudraprayag, Himalayas in the year 1994, near the Koteswar Mahadev temple.
