Goga Panchami is observed on the fifth day following Rakshabandhan festival (Shravan Purnima) mainly in North India. In 2022, Goga Panchami date is August 16.

This festival (vrat) is associated with the Serpent God ‘Guga’. It is mainly observed in Punjab, Haryana and Himachal Pradesh.

Goga Panchami marks the beginning of Goga Navami celebrations. It is similar to Nag Panchami and Nag Chaturthi.
