Dhanurmasam Pooja at Yadagirigutta Temple

Dhanurmasam Pooja is one of the popular rituals at Yadagirigutta Temple dedicated to Lord Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy. In 2017-2018, Dhanurmasam begins on 16 December 2017 and ends on 13 January 2018.

In this month-long celebrations, Vaikunta Ekadashi and Adhyayanotsavalu are the popular rituals. It is a tradition for Vaishnava Temples to conduct Dhanurmasa Utsavalu throughout the month. The utsavams, starts in the early morning on each day from December 16 to January 13.

Goddess Lakshmi is decorated in the form of Godadevi and worshipped by reciting Thiruppavai.

On 29 December 2017 Vaikunta Dwara Darshanam (Uttara Dwara Darshanam) is allowed for common devotees on the occasion of Vaikunta Ekadashi.

Doordarshan Yadagiri Channel will live telecast the programs of Yadagirigutta Vaikunta Ekadashi and Dhanurmasam pooja celebrations.
