The TTD has plans to conduct the spiritually enthralling Dhanurmasa Thiruppavai discourses at Annamacharya Kala Mandir from December 17 –January 14.
The TTD plans to sponsor the month long discourses by eminent experts at 168 pilgrim centres in the country as part of the Dhanurmasam ritual.
At the Srivari Temple during the Dhanur Masam Thiruppavai will replace the Suprabhatham ritual. Legends say that Dhanur Masam considered as Brahma muhurta for gods a Goda devi Dhanurmasam vratam was conceived by them to promote peace, prosperity in the country.
The significance of the vratam, performed by Sri Krishna also in Dwapara yugam was scripted by Goda devi in the form of Thiruppavai Divya Prabandam in a 30 paged palm leaf document.
The vratam is popularly performed in all Vaishnava temples across the country in form of Thiruppavai Shatumura.
Dhanurmasa Tiruppavi Pravachanams will be rendered from December 17 to January 14 in 250 centres across the country under the aegis of Alwar Divya Prabandha project of TTD.
Renowned scholars will render religious discourses. On each day one Pasuram penned by Andal Sri Goda Devi, one among the 12 Alwars, will be recited and its importance will be explained.

తిరుప‌తి11డిసెంబరు 2022: పవిత్ర ధనుర్మాసాన్ని పురస్కరించుకుని డిసెంబరు 17 వతేదీ నుంచి జనవరి 14వ తేదీ వరకు తిరుపతితోపాటు దేశవ్యాప్తంగా 250 కేంద్రాల్లో ప్రముఖ పండితులు తిరుప్పావై ప్రవచనాలు చేయనున్నారు. టీటీడీ ఆళ్వార్‌ దివ్యప్రబంధ ప్రాజెక్టు ఆధ్వర్యంలో ఇందుకోసం ఏర్పాట్లు జరుగుతున్నాయి.
తిరుమల శ్రీవారి ఆలయంలోనూ ధనుర్మాసంలో సుప్రభాతం బదులు తిరుప్పావై నివేదించడం విశేషం. తిరుపతిలోని అన్నమాచార్య కళామందిరం, కెటి రోడ్డులోని శ్రీ వరదరాజస్వామివారి ఆలయంలో తిరుప్పావై ప్రవచనాలు పారాయణం చేస్తారు.
12 మంది ఆళ్వారులలో ఒకరైన
శ్రీ గోదాదేవి ధనుర్మాసం వ్రతం చేశారు. ఈ వ్రతం చేయడం వల్ల దేశం సమృద్ధిగా, సుభిక్షంగా ఉంటుంది. ద్వాపరయుగంలో గోపికలు ఈ వ్రతాన్ని ఆచరించి శ్రీకృష్ణుని కృపకు పాత్రులయ్యారని భాగవతం దశమ స్కందంలో పేర్కొనబడింది.
ఈ వ్రతం ఎలా పాటించాలనే విషయాన్ని శ్రీ గోదాదేవి 30 పాశురాలతో కూడిన తిరుప్పావై దివ్యప్రబంధాన్ని లోకానికి అందించారు. ఈ తిరుప్పావై సారాంశం భగవంతునికి కైంకర్యం చేయడమే. ఈ వ్రతం ఒకరు చేయడం కాకుండా అందరినీ కలుపుకుని చేస్తే గొప్ప ఫలితం ఉంటుందని పండితులు చెబుతారు . ఈ సంప్రదాయం ప్రకారం దేశవ్యాప్తంగా గల అన్ని వైష్ణవ దేవాలయాలలో తిరుప్పావై శాత్తుమొర నిర్వహించడం ఆనవాయితీగా వస్తోంది.
