Millions of devotees visit Mathura Brij Bhoomi Sri Krishna Temple on Adhik Maas – an auspicious occasion. In 2020, Adhik Maas begins on 18 September and ends on 16 October. This year, it is Adhik Ashwin Maas.
Adhik Maas is a month long religious functions. In the Hindu calendar, an extra month is added after three years. This year an extra Ashwin Maas has been added and it occurs after 19 years.
