Brahmamgari Matham, Kandimallayapalli

Brahmamgari Matham is located at Kandimallayapalli in Kadapa district of Andhra Pradesh. Kandimallayapalli is the place where Sri Potuluri Veerabrahmam, who was famous for his predictions and foresight about the future of the world, stayed.

Veerabrahmam is the only futurologist that the East has produced. He entered Jeeva Samadhi in the year 1693. Brahmamgari Matham was built in Kandimallayapalli after his death. The walls are covered with the preaching and predictions of Veerabrahmam.

Kandimallayapalle is located 60 km away from Kadapa. It is well facilitated with roads. The preferable route from Kadapa to Kandimallayapalle is via Mydukur. From Mydukur, the distance is 37 km. The nearest railway station to Brahmamgari Matam is Kadapa. Kandimallayapalle is 60 km from Kadapa. The nearest airport is Renigunta airport.

Brahmamsagar Reservoir

Sri Pothuluri Veerabrahmendra Swamy Reservoir is part of the Telugu Ganga irrigation project. It’s stone foundation was laid by the late NT Rama Rao. The reservoir has a capacity of 2 billion cubic meters. Along with the surrounding hills, the reservoir has become a popular tourist place. AP Tourism operates a boat there.

Narayana Swamy Ashramam

Bommu’s family members constructed Narayana Swamy’s temple in Obularaju Palle. This village was submerged in the Brahmam Sagar reservoir in 2005. Bommu family members started a registered trust and began re-constructing the temple.

In 2008, the Garbhagudi (the main area where Narayana Swamy’s Idol is present) was completed and has been expanding since then. Bommu family members, relatives and other devotees celebrate Swamy’s utsava every year.
