12 April 2014 is Anang Vrat (Anang Trayodashi Vrata). It is an auspicious vrat dedicated to Lord Shiva.
Anang Trayodashi falls on thirteenth day in Chaitra month as per Gujarati and Marathi calendars. And it is celebrated in Margashirsh month in North Indian states.
Anang vrat is observed by devotees for good health, prosperity, and the wealth. Shiva Puja and Kamadeva Puja are the main rituals of the day.
