Lord Vishnu cosmic sleep
In this world, rich people can purchase any thing as they like, and they can also visit to any places in the world with their huge wealth. But no one could obtain a ticket to visit the divine world, “HEAVEN”. Since heaven cannot be visited by us with our money, since, it could be visited only if we have done lot of good karmas in our past births.
There was a famous theatre which was previously situated in Millers Road, near the famous Purasawakam area, and the name of the theatre was MOTCHAM. Few years before, the theatre was demolished and apartments were constructed in that place, but still now the bus stop situated in that place is called as Motcham Bus Stop. Funnily, sometimes the bus conductor used to ask the passengers, “Are anyone interested to go to Moksham (Heaven)”, and he used to tell these to the passengers with a smiling face. It is very difficult for us to visit the divine world Moksham, since most of us didn’t contain that much Punya (Sacred deed) in our life account.
Some people belonging to other religion thinks that if they do lot of terrorism in the name of their god, then after their death, they would be welcomed by lot of beautiful girls in the heaven. They are having these types of thoughts in their mind, since they have been brain washed by the terrorists. But for their bad acts, they only would be rewarded with lot of stringent punishments in the hell.
Actually heaven is a place where we can relax us fully, and it is believed that in that divine world, we would not suffer from hunger, thirst and from any sort of sufferings in our life. Actually the Divine people who live in the heaven are also supposed to worship their god Indra, and his family members, in order to spend their life peacefully at the heaven.
But the people who live in the heaven would have to again return to the world by again taking birth, after they fully utilize their good karmic deeds. Most of the divine people didn’t like to again return to this earth, since they didn’t prefer to suffer from the troubles and turmoil in this difficult world. Due to that, they used to perform meditation on Lord Shiva, Vinayaka, Muruga or Vishnu, in order to extend their tenure for another few thousand years in the heaven.
Instead of having interest to go to the heaven after our death, we must have to aim to merge with the god through our constant prayers and meditation. Since, once we become part and parcel of the great almighty, all of our sufferings would permanently come to an end, and thereafter there is no need to suffer from the chain of birth cycles again and again.
