During Ashwin Devi Sharan Navratri, 8th day of Navratri 2025 is on 29 September and in Chaitra Navratri it was April 6. This day marks Devi Ashtami, Durga Ashtami, Mahashtami, Virashtami. But this year due to Shunya Tithi and Tithi Vriddhi, 8th day of Navratri falls on Saptami day.

On this day, Maa Mahagauri is worshipped in Navadurga Sampradaya (Shakteya Sampradayam).

Sri Saraswati Devi is the 8th day Alankaram in Vijayawada Temple Navaratri 2025. During Dasara Navaratri of Kanakadurga Temple, each day one of the forms of Goddess Durga is worshipped.
