Seven Saptarishis still visit Venkateshwara Swamy at Tirumala… During the start of Kaliyuga, when Lord Vishnu left his abode Vaikunta in order to settle down at the Holy Tirumala Hills, till the end of Kali Yuga, the seven great Saptarishis such as “Vashistha”, “Marichi”, “Pulastya”, “Pulaha”, “Atri”, “Angiras” and “Kratu”, felt very much worried, since they could not get the divine vision of Lord Vishnu at Vaikunta, and hence they prayed to Lord Vishnu to give his divine darshan for them at least once in a year at his Holy abode, the Tirumala Temple. As per their request, Lord Venkateswara had agreed, and still now, he reveals his full divine form (Viswaroopa Darshan) to the seven Saptarishis during the auspicious Vaikunta Ekadashi Day!

Lord Venkateswara is the giver of boons and the fulfiller of wishes of his devotees. He has performed many miracles in the lives of his devotees, and still he is doing! With his blessings, the blind are able to see, lame are able to walk, dumb and deaf are able to talk and hear, physically challenged ones changes into physically strong ones, and likewise he performs lot of good changes in his devotees lives!

Apart from the Seven Saptarishis, it is also believed that even Lord Indra, Chandra and Surya visits Lord Venkateswara on the auspicious Vaikunta Ekadashi day, in order to see the divine form of Lord Venkateswara. The great Lord acts like the Holy Cow Kamadhenu, and the divine tree Kalpavriksha with regard to fulfilling the wishes of his devotees. Whoever comes to have a glimpse of Lord Venkateswara are being offered wholesome tasty meals, at the Tirumala Temple, and apart from that, free education and free medical facilities are also offered to the poor.

It is also believed that the great Vishnu Devotee Sri Kurathalvan has become the holy ear rings of Lord Venkateswara, since he wants to permanently dwell on the body of Lord Venkateswara. Let us also sincerely worship Lord Venkateswara to dwell in his body at least in the form of a small dust particle!
