Kalahasti Silver Nandi
Sri Kalahasti Shiva Temple (Srikalahasthiswara Swamy Temple) will have a 200-kgs Silver Nandi (bull). The Silver Nandi will serve as a Vahana in Shivaratri Brahmotsavams which are being celebrated from March 6th.
Dr Pratap Reddy, Chairman of Apollo Hospitals, is the donor of this 1.3 crore worth of Silver Nandi which was made at GRT.
Dr Pratap Reddy has presented the Silver Nandi to Temple committee on 6th March, Monday.
