15 August 2014 is the 68th Indian Independence Day (Svatantra Divas). Independence was the dream of crores of freedom fighters who had struggled several hundred years to achieve it. They had the success finally in 1947 on August 15. The Brirish rule in India was concluded on this day.

The Sepoy Rebellion of 1857, Non-Cooperation Movement of 1920, Salt March and Civil Disobidience of 1930 and the Quit India Movement of 1942 are the best and the great revolutions organised by Indian freedom fighters against the British rule and became successful in achieving freedom in 1947.

On the occasion of 68th Svatantra Divas, Hindupad wishing all the visitors a Happy Independence day and paying a great homage to all freedom fighters…
