Khairatabad Matsya Vinayaka – Mammoth Ganesha Idol in Hyderabad for Vinayaka Chavithi Festival 2009

khairtabad-ganesh-idol-for-2009-matsya-ganeshMammoth Ganesh idol at Khairatabad in Hyderabad for the year 2009 is – Matsya Ganesh. 45 feet standing Matsya Ganesh idol of Khairatabad is constructed with a new concept. In Andhra Pradesh, there is a great drought in 2009. To pacify the effect of the drought, Khairtabad Vinayaka is built as Matsya Ganesha with water concept in 2009. Around Ganesha idol, fishes, shells, snake or serpent and elephant are seen. Around the head of Matsya Ganesh idol there is a Shankh (conch).
On two sides of Khairtabad Matsya Ganesha there are some idols of Bhakta Kannappa legend concept and Lord Dattatreyas idol. Both the idols are of 20 feet height. After the completion of constructing the idols, electric umbrellas are fixed.
Devotees can request for online pujas behalf of their names, gothras for free of cost. Puja is done with utmost devotion to Mammoth Ganesh idol of Khairatabad. Here is the link to request for puja.
