Bhadrakali Temple, Hanamkonda, located in Warangal district of Telangana region of Andhra Pradesh is a Shakti Peetham dedicated to Goddess Badrakali.
Bhadrakali temple is constructed in 625 AD by the West Chalukya King Pulakesi-II as the commemoration of his victory over Vengi Chalukyas. After Chalukyas, Kakatiya kings adopted the temple and the Goddess as their Kuldevi (deity of dynasty). She is also worshipped as ‘Kakathamma’.
