Bala Tripura Sundari Puja

Balatripura Sundari Devi

Balatripura Sundari Devi

Bala Tripura Sundari Puja is observed as a part of Navadevi Alankara puja during Navaratri in South India. In Navaratri 2021 in Vijayawada Kanakadurga Temple, Balatripura Sundari is worshipped on the second day of Navratri (October 8).

Balatripura is the first goddess in the Tripura Traya and she is the main goddess of all in the SriYantra. Without having got the mantra of Bala one is not eligible to perform the Sri Yantra Pooja.

In the first amnaya of Srichakra bala resides, so without worshiping Bala one cannot perform pooja to Sridevi. Kanaka durga is decorated as Bala as SRI ADI SHANKARA, has established srichakra here and so to beget the anugraha of bala she is decorated as bala and one has to def see her beauty in this alankaram.

Worshiping Balatripura Sundari is the vital part in the shakti pooja. Even listening to her name is considered to be beneficial to the sadhaka.

In the Brahmanda Purana, Bala Tripurasundari is mentioned in ‘Lalita Mahatmya’. The chapter discloses her battle with Bhandasura.

With due respect, instead you could ask the author to mention credit with allowing use of Maa’s photo, but claiming that someone has copyright on Maa’s photo is not understandable at all. This is another subtle ego that we have build temple be reminded it must be Her will and creation power by which One could build Her temple. We do so much on Mother’s name but still stuck in mundane basic play of world.
