Venkateshwara is not Vishnu’s incarnation, but he is Vishnu himself … Most of the devotees of Lord Venkateswara are of the opinion, that, Lord Venkateswara is an incarnation of Lord Vishnu! But in fact, Lord Venkateswara is Lord Vishnu himself! While Lord Vishnu transformed himself into Srinivasa (Venkateswara), left Vaikunta, and came down to the earth, he made some of his powers to dwell in his abode Vaikunta itself, in order to welcome the visiting guests like Sages, Saints, Gods and Demi gods to the Vaikunta!
Lord Venkateswara is the main deity of Tirumala Venkateswara Temple situated in Tirupati, Andhra Pradesh. Lakhs of devotees are visiting daily to the Tirumala Temple to have a glimpse of their dear god, in order to get his blessings. In the famous Sri Venkateswara Stotrams, Lord Venkateswara is mentioned as Lord Vishnu himself, and he is praised in his various names like Narayana, Kesava, Madhava, Achyuta, Ananda, Govinda and Madusudana.
In the famous Sri Venkateswara Suprabatham, though Lord Venkeswara is mentioned as the Lord of Seven Hills, he is also praised as the dweller in Vaikunta, and as the powerful god Vishnu. Most of us used to frequently worry about our day to day problems, and also used to afraid about our future life! We should always remember that Lord Venkateswara is the decider of our future life, and hence, we should leave our present and future life in the hands of Lord Venkateswara!
Lord Venkateswara is also praised as “PANNAGA SAYANA”, the one who sleeps on the serpent bed, “PARKADAL VASA”, the one who dwells in the divine ocean, “THIRUPARKADAL”, “BHAKTA RATCHAGA”, the one who takes care of his devotees like a mother, “VAIKUNTESWARA, the one who dwells in his divine abode, “SRI VAIKUNTAM”.
From the above praises, we could come to a conclusion, that Lord Venkateswara is none other than Lord Vishnu himself, and hence, let us keep on praising about the wonderful glories of Lord Venkateswara, day and night, and on all 365 days in a year, and let us be blessed.
