19 April 2022 is Angarika Chaturthi (Angaraka Sankashti Chaturthi Vrat). The Sankashti Chaturthi Vrat which falls on Tuesday is referred to as Angarika Chaturthi.
On the day of Angarika Chaturthi, devotees visit temples. Perform special pujas and Abhishekam. Chanting ‘Arthava Sheersha’ and ‘Ganesha Ashtottam’ is considered auspicious on this pujan.
At the end of the Pujan, devotees read Angarika Chaturthi Vrat Katha and the significance of the Vrat.. Detailed procedure of Angarika Chaturthi Vrat with Mantras, Stotrams, etc.. will be updated soon..
According to the ritual, a meal should be taken at moonrise. Thus that meal becomes a part of the ritual and is not partaken of to end the fast.
