Thiruparankundram Murugan Temple Kumbabhishekam.. Thiruparankundram thiruparankundram subramanya swamy Temple Kumbabhishekam… Kumbabhishekam also known as Consecration ceremony, is a famous ritual held in the temples, once in 12 years, in order to add more and more divine powers to the deities present in the temple, and it is also performed in order to honour the great almighty.
Kumbabishekams are being done in order to renovate the entire temple and to recharge the powers of the deities present in the temple through mantras, homams, prayers and abhishekams and this method was practiced since Vedic times.
The Board of Trustees decided to conduct a Maha Kumbabhishekam at the Thiruparankundram Subramania Swamy Temple, the first of the six temples of Lord Murugan. In this regard, the Board of Trustees decided to carry out renovations on a huge scale.
Meanwhile, on February 10th, a palalayam was conducted for the Rajagopuram and the sub-temples inside the temple, including Vallabhaganapathi Temple and Pasupathi Easwarar. Following this, the Muhurtaka tree was planted on February 24th. Following this, the work of painting the 7-tiered Rajagopuram of the temple without changing its original appearance is in full swing.
Similarly, painting work is underway in the halls inside the temple. The main sanctum of the temple, where a paalalayam was held on April 9th, is undergoing renovations.
Meanwhile, the coconut touching muhurtham program was held at the temple office yesterday. The program was presided over by the temple trustees and temple staffs were also participated.
Earlier, temple Shivacharyas arrived from the temple to the temple office with coconuts to the beat of drums.
The Muhurtakaal will be planted on the 23rd between 8 am and 9 am. Following this, the Maha Kumbabhishekam will be held on the 14th of July between 5.25 am and 6.10 am by pouring holy water on the Rajagopuram.
For this, the Yagasalai Puja will begin on July 10. It was informed that the Yagasalai Puja will be held on the days of 11th, 12th, and 13th. The temple trustees will be making special arrangements.
Visiting this temple would give great spiritual pleasure, prosperity and peace, and all of our health-related issues would be resolved by the grace of Lord Arumuga. At this present-day world, worshipping Lord Muruga, would give great relief to our mind, and we would get relieved from mental stress and tensions.
