Sri Panchami (Vasantha Panchami) is a big festival celebrated at Swetharkamula Ganapathi Temple, Kazipet (Warangal) in Telangana. In 2017, Sri Panchami is celebrated on February 1.
Swetarkamoola Ganapathy is permanently located at Vishnupuri Colony, Kazipet of Warangal District, Andhra Pradesh. Thousands of devotees throng in long queues for the darshan of Lord Swetarkamoola Ganapathy. This has been a continuous process for last 15 years.
Sri Panchami falls on the fifth day of Magha Masam as per Telugu calendar (Magha Shuddha Panchami). It is also popular for Aksharabhyasam for children.
