Spiritual Writers

Spiritual writers are those who put their spiritual thoughts in the form of writing, and their works are highly appreciated by the people. Swami Vivekananda wrote lot of spiritual and motivational works, which focus on the younger generation of people. In his writings, he also would quote good examples from the holy epics like Bhagavat Gita, Puranas and the Bhagavatham. Likewise Swami Paramahamsa Yogananda, Guru Raghavendra, Swami Shivananada also wrote wonderful books, which are still helpful for the mankind.

Reading habit must be cultivated by everyone, and especially by the young generation of people, since regular reading of good books, would give some clue to live a pious life, and also would reduce their stress and boosts their energy.

Since nowadays lot of articles are already available in the websites, the reading habit is reduced to some extent, but even then, still some people prefer to buy good books from the books stalls and some used to read books from the libraries. Nowadays lot of people are committing suicides in order to get rid from their problems. If they study some books on motivational issues and also the divine texts like Bhagavat Gita and Bhagavatham, then most of them would not lose their lives on their own hands.

Few years ago, when a young man tries to commit suicide in his home, suddenly he got a chance of reading a motivational article from the internet. He began to interestingly read the article and after finishing that, he changed his mind, and decided to live his life. Likewise by reading articles containing good subjects, we can avoid suicidal thoughts, and would wish to live a full-fledged life. As per the sayings of Swami Vivekananda, “Reading is the best habit which everyone must develop it as a daily practice. It would even heal our mental worries, tensions and gives enthusiasm to us”.

Our life is very short. We don’t know when we are going to die. Daily we are suffering from lot of tensions both in our office as well as in our home. In order to be happy for at least a few hours in a day, let us practice the reading habit regularly, especially by reading spiritual and motivational books.
