The Solar Eclipse of 21 September 2025 is a Partial Solar Eclipse (Pakshika Surya Grahan).

This Partial solar eclipse will be visible from Australia, New Zealand, Fiji, Tonga, French Polynesia and Antarctica. The maximal phase of the the partial eclipse will be recorded on in New Zealand and Stewart Island.

Indian Subcontinent countries like India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, cannot watch this Solar Eclipse. Germany, France, Ukraine, Russia, Iran, Iraq, Yemen, Saudi Arabia, Oman, Afghanistan, Pakistan, India and Bangladesh will not witness this event. United States of America (USA), Canada, Brazil, Argentina, and all other North American and South American countries will miss this eclipse.

What is Surya Grahan and when it occurs?

Solar eclipse is a stage in the Suns cycle (solar cycle), where the Moon reaches between the Sun and the Earth. At the moment of solar eclipse the Sun is either partially or completely covered or darkened. Usually, solar eclipse occurs on Amavasya day (New Moon Day).
