Lord Murugan
The significance of Lord Muruga cannot be explained fully even by his father Lord Shiva and he cannot be avoided by any anyone in their daily life, especially by his devotees. Though there are several thousands of gods in Hinduism, Lord Muruga occupies an important place in our worship. Since Lord Muruga also appears in child form, people of any age ranging from 1 to 100 can worship him happily.
We must have to consider that Lord Muruga is everything in our life. Lord Muruga is the beloved son of Parvati and Parameswara, brother of the first god, Vinayaka, and he also contains great powers similar to his parents. In the Muruga Purana, it was mentioned, that the entire universe was found in the two eyes of Lord Muruga, and the significance of Lord Muruga was sung by his staunch devotees like Arunagiri Nathar and Pamban Swamigal.
The Kaumaram Sect of people who mostly lives in Tamil Nadu are considered as ardent devotees of Lord Muruga, and they consider Lord Murugan as superior than that of his parents Lord Shiva and Ma Shakti. Murugan is mainly worshipped by the people in Tamil Nadu, and also he is worshipped by the Tamil people in Malaysia, Singapore and Srilanka.

Oh my Dear Lord Muruga, how I will forget you, since I have stored you permanently at my soul, and I never leave you from my soul forever in my life.
Oh Muruga, whenever I think about you, you should come before me, and must give your divine vision. Those who worship Lord Muruga would never suffer from any sort of difficulties in their life, and their sins and diseases would be miraculously removed through the grace of Lord Muruga.
Oh Lord Muruga, my heart gets melted, whenever I chant your wonderful names, whenever I worship you, whenever I recite your divine Mantras. You are showering mercy towards your devotees like the ocean. I am able to find the holy Rivers like Ma Ganga, Yamuna, Godavari and Narmada, on your holy feet, and I worship you in the form of your father Lord Shiva, since you are the holy aspect of Lord Shiva.
Oh Lord Muruga, I never stopped worshipping you even for a single day in my life. You are the consort of Ma Valli and Devasena. Those who worship you sincerely would surely get salvation.
Oh Lord Muruga, even if you are a fictitious god or a simple statue, I would never forget you, since I strongly believe that in my soul, you are dwelling there permanently.

Lord Muruga, also known as kanda,kadamba,kathirvela,senthil andava and karthikeya, and also by various names, is the second son of Lord Shiva and Ma Parvathi. He was born from the third eye spark of Lord Shiva. He was a great warrior in the battle field. He fought with several demons and defeated them. He was married with Valli and Devasena, and both of them are considered as the two activating forces for the entire world.
